jasmine rose rhassoul clay
slowly polish to draw impurities out from within

wrap the body from head to toe in this detoxifying blend of rhassoul and bentonite clay and the essential oils of rose, eglantine, jasmine and moroccan blue tansy. rhassoul is a lava clay sourced from deep beneath the atlas mountains of eastern morocco, that powerfully penetrates the skin and lifts away toxins. daily life exposes the body to thousands of pollutants and toxins that slowly accumulate in the skin. the regular practice of detoxification aids the body in maintaining a healthy life balance, leaving the skin healthy and radiant. as the combination of clay dries and is washed off, removing impurities, skin is left supple-scented with damascena rose, jasmine grandiflorum and eglantine essentials oils. feel abundantly fragrant and healed.

sensory experience: blend rhassoul clay polish with warm water over the entire body, face and neck releasing a slight warming sensation, drawing out impurities from the skin. experience deep purification by applying with a brush as a full body masque and steeping the skin in a healing soak to uplift the body and spirit.

aromatherapy: warm the mind with the whole essential oil of rose damascena, a mild sedative with uplifting and anti-depressant benefits. the glorious scent of jasmine grandiflorum is a nerve tonic with euphoric effects.

origin: rhassoul clay is sourced from ancient deposits deep within the atlas mountains of eastern morocco. rhassoul is derived from the arabic word "rassala" for washing and has been an essential part of the hammam therapeutic treatment for more than fourteen centuries. on a warm heated stone, bathers will mix powdered rhassoul clay with warm water and blend it into the hair, face, neck and body. heat penetrates deeply, encouraging perspiration to release toxins from the skin and organ systems. clay binds with these impurities and draws them deep from within. the bather then rinses the clay away with several basins of steamy hot water poured over the top of the head.

this is the third step. slowly polish to draw deep impurities from the body and detoxify for a euphoric lightness of being.
